The three photos below show Noel Ellis, who started his career on the railway and worked his way up as a Fireman based in Rhyl Shed.
Noel known as "Nobby" to everyone who knew him on the railway was offered a job at Camden when Rhyl Shed closed on 11th February 1963.
He later returned and finished the last few years over at Chester working as a guard.
